Maison&Objet brings together a total product offering, including decoration, design, furniture, accessories, textiles, fragrances, and tableware. Hundreds of exhibitors will gather in Paris from 7 September to 11 September for Maison&Objet Paris. In September 2018, the trend forecasting agency NellyRodi will be taking over the Inspirations Space and Bookshop-Café to share its vision on the theme ‘Virtuous’.
Every year, Maison&Objet spotlights the most outstanding names on the international design and decor scene today. In September 2018, Belgian-born Paris-based designer Ramy Fischler will receive the Designer of the Year Award and will have the opportunity to exhibit his work in a self-designed space at the fair.
This edition of the fair will also celebrate the work of emerging designers from Lebanon via the Rising Talents Awards. Bridging the gap between East and West, the choice to honour a country with a booming creative scene confirms Maison&Objet’s effort to keep pushing the boundaries of creation. The event is placed under the patronage of Rabih Kayrouz, whose fashion label has immensely contributed to the worldwide popularity of the Lebanese style over the years. Six emerging designers have been chosen to represent the future of Lebanese design and will showcase their work at the fair.
Since 1995 , Maison&Objet has been the world’s foremost event for professionals of the lifestyle, interior and design industries. Every edition brings together some 3,000 brands and more than 90,000 unique visitors to the Paris fair – of which 50% hail from outside France.
