Linda Corkery (MLA, MRP, B Sc.) is a Director of Corkery Consulting and an Associate Professor in the Faculty of the Built Environment at UNSW where she teaches in the landscape program. Linda provides specialist consulting skills in public open space planning and children’s play environments. Her experience includes preparation of discussion papers and published articles addressing issues of planning, management and use of open space and parklands. This coincides with her research focus on the roles of public open space and parklands ans key components of urban infrastructure, community health, and well being. Linda is a member of AILA and the American Society of Landscape Architects. Linda was on the jury panel for the 2010 AILA National Awards.
