Born in Scotland, Andy Macdonald settled in Sydney in the 90’s after living in the UK, the States, Spain and Holland.
In 1999 Andy founded Mac-Interactive Architects, who have completed a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from multi-unit residential to shops, restaurants, and PYD shopping centre in the Dank St precinct, but the core work has been residential – a fantastic opportunity that has not gone unappreciated.
In addition to core architectural work Andy has also completed an array of art commissions, theatre works and furniture which along with teaching help maintain a spirit of diversity and a keen outward looking interest in what is going on in design-thinking.
