Leonie Matthews is a director of Matthews McDonald Architects and combines her work in practice with teaching and research. She has worked as an academic at Curtin University, the University of Western Australia and the University of Queensland. She is currently an honorary lecturer at the University of Queensland. Leonie’s research focuses on Australian architectural history and she is undertaking a PhD – “Lure of the Hills” – at the University of Western Australia.
