Peter Skinner

Peter Skinner is a retired professor of architecture from the University of Queensland (UQ). After graduating with a Bachelor of Design Studies and a Bachelor of Architecture (Hons) from UQ, he practised as an architect at Russell Hall Architects and Addison Associates. Peter’s Master of Architecture (UQ, 1996) and subsequent design, research and engagement has focused on housing and urban design in subtropical Queensland. The St Lucia House, designed with Elizabeth Watson-Brown, won the 2000 Robin Dods Award. Peter is a Life Fellow and past Queensland President (2010–2011) of the Australian Institute of Architects.
