Jared Bird

Jared Bird is a registered architect and architectural historian and theorist. He is currently completing a commonwealth-funded PhD at the Centre for Architecture Theory Criticism History (ATCH) at the University of Queensland. His research looks at the use of grids in the plans of the Australian modernist architect, John Andrews. His broader interest is in the historical origins of field planning. Jared worked in Brisbane as an architect for several years before commencing his PhD.
