Neil Challenger

Neil Challenger has been active in earthquake recovery since the September 2010 earthquake. He has helped set up the Greening the Rubble initiative, attended numerous workshops and planning meetings, participated in the 48 Hour Design Challenge, and worked on several think tanks exploring how recovery should happen and the form that it should take. He is Head of the School of Landscape Architecture and senior lecturer at Lincoln University. The studio project envisioning the possibilities for Christchurch East was led by Kevin Connery with input from Neil Challenger, Simon Fenwick, Don Royds and Mark Teesdale.
