Chris Knapp is a registered architect, educator, and the research director of Building 4.0 CRC based at Monash University. Formerly the head of the Abedian School of Architecture, he is an honorary professor at Bond University, and was foundation chair of Architecture at Western Sydney University. Dr Knapp earned a practice-based PhD from RMIT along with degrees in architecture from Princeton and Michigan. He is co-director of Studio Workshop Architects in Mermaid Beach, Queensland.
