Andrea Nield is a director of Studio Nield and was the founder of Emergency Architects Australia. She was creative director of the AusIndoArch Tropfix Student Design Workshop and the AusIndoArch Conference, held in Darwin in June and November 2014. Both brought Indonesian and Australian architects and students together to discuss architecture and urbanism in the tropics.
