Willem Rethmeier is a Sydney-based, award-winning photographer in the field of interiors and architectural photography. Born in Indonesia and educated in The Netherlands. Willem graduated from Hollands’ elite St Joost Art Academy in the early 1970s with a Masters degree in Photography and began his career assisting leading photographers throughout Europe and the US before settling in Australia in 1980. Willem was awarded a Silver and Bronze in the 1989 Australian Writers and Art Directors Awards and three of his works are represented in the Fuji ACMP Australian Photographers Collection.
