Shane is the principal of Shane Thompson Architects, a studio he established in 2012 after twenty-four years as a principal and director at BVN Architecture. He is an adjunct professor at the University of Queensland, president of the Australian Institute of Architects (Queensland Chapter), chair of Architecture Australia’s editorial advisory board and was a joint creative director for the 2012 National Architecture Conference Experience. Shane is the recipient of a Robin Boyd Award and numerous other national and international awards for his work. His projects are widely published, and he is a regular invited guest speaker at conferences.
