MagnaFlow sheeting is a highly durable prepainted sheet steel system suitable for use in corrosive environments for roofing, walling and rainwater products.
This material offers excellent resistance to ammonia and humidity, making MagnaFlow coated steel products suitable for animal barns, composting sheds and other farm buildings with harsh, damp environments and corrosive conditions caused by animal excreta.
The sheeting includes the innovative ZAM coating technology that blends zinc, aluminium (6%) and magnesium (3%) to provide far greater corrosion resistance than hot-dip galvanized coatings by sealing raw edges over time.
MagnaFlow and ZAM allow new installation possibilities in corrosive environments, with potentially lower material cost and shorter project lead times. ZAM can also be applied to Stramit’s range of structural steel purlin sections and composite decking and offers raw-edge protection and scratch resistance. ZAM eliminates the need for higher coating weights with no reduction in product performance.
