New Zealand’s best houses of 2016

Nine of New Zealand’s best houses have been honoured in the 2016 New Zealand Architecture Awards, from a plant-filled garden room extension to a set of rental units for the elderly.

New Zealand Architecture Medal winner: The Blyth Performing Arts Centre by Stevens Lawson Architects. This project is also a winner in the Education category.
