Series 2 Security Shutter commercial roller doors are most commonly used as shop front roller shutters in shopping centres, where a solid secure and sealed shutter is of paramount importance.

The Series 2 security shutter can span up to 5.5 m wide in one section, if motorized, or up to 3 m wide (limited to 9 square metres) if manually operated. Unlimited spans are achievable using mullions.

The curtain is constructed using interlocking extruded aluminium slats (86 mm high) and extruded aluminium joiner slats, forming a continuous hinge. The ends of the joiner slats are fitted with nylon clips securely attached using rivets and slide within secure side guides, which prevents sideways movement and ensures smooth operation of the curtain.

Ventilation can be achieved with slotted sections, which allow for both through vision and airflow. Locking is achieved with a two-way mortice lock, which slides a shootbolt into the side guides. Motorised shutters are not fitted with locks.

All aluminium sections are available in a clear anodised finish, with a powder coat alternative option where required.
