The Sureflow roof drain provides a drainage option for flat residential and commercial roofs.
The drain's base is injection-moulded from PVC using a thick gauge wall, meaning it is fully compatible with liquid-, solvent- and heat-applied roofing membranes. The large diameter flange provides ample surface area for bonding roofing membranes, ensuring a watertight connection to the drainage system. The clamp ring mechanically secures the membrane with a cam lock, allowing the grate to be removed for inspection and maintenance. The PVC base reduces the weight required for structural engineering over a cast iron or bronze flange.
Grate options include a flat, dome or overflow attachment. Black ASA plastic grates are UV-resistant and designed for Australian conditions. Other options include 316 stainless steel grates. The base also provides the option for a clamp ring collar and pipe locator, allowing it to be used as a podium or in a planter box. Allproof's Storm series grates can be used in conjunction with this setup.
The Sureflow base comes with a 80 mm, 100 mm or 150 mm outlet for solvent or push-fit connections to the drainage system. All bases have the same overall diameter, meaning grates are easily interchangeable.
